I am absolutely in love with this maxi dress I picked up in the Gap summer sale a couple of weeks ago. It was an impulse buy, but I have no regrets. The high neckline perfectly hides any awkward beach tan lines, and eludes a sense of modest sophistication. The fabric feels almost like suede, and is extremely soft and comfortable on the skin. I decided to go very minimal with my accessories, wearing only a dainty silver necklace and earrings. However, you could easily dress this piece up for a wedding or evening event by changing up the accessories and adding a clutch.
